Return of the Green Machine

It's been a while. I'm about to sell stuff again, so maybe more pictures in the future. However, the other day, I was walking around Toys R Us (just for fun on the way to the nextdoor grocery store, but I did buy an ice cream) and noticed an old blast from the past.


That's right, it's the Green Machine!! A blast from the past that John and I were actually just talking about a month ago in Gainesville (sadly Margaret never had one and didn't know what we were talking about). The Green machine was a great toy. It was like a Big Wheel, but, well, it was green, with an adjustable seat, and a handbrake that allowed for super-spinouts. The wheels were plastic, of course, and I remember wearing holes in both the one with the brake and the larger wheel.

It looks like this updated model has two brakes, which looks to be a ton of fun. They should really make a version for adults. Kind of like a tricked-out version of a recumbent bike.
